Treb Courie is a retired U.S. Army Judge Advocate with over twenty years of service and a proven record as a military judge, appellate counsel, general counsel, and senior legal advisor. During his military career, he held key leadership positions including Military Judge at Fort Stewart, Staff Judge Advocate at Fort Jackson, Deputy Staff Judge Advocate for U.S. Army Pacific, and Deputy Chief of the Government Appellate Division. His service included deployments in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Courie earned his LL.M. from The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School, his J.D. from Duke University, and both his M.A. and B.A. in History from Clemson University. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar and has served as an adjunct professor at the University of South Carolina School of Law.
